Frequently Asked Questions

This tool provides a photo-based estimate using local image signals (and optional AI review). It does not replace professional in-hand grading. Use it as a guide, not a definitive grade.

Upload clear, well-lit photos of the entire front and back of the raw card (not in a slab). Use a plain background and avoid glare/reflections.

Local OpenCV scans are unlimited. AI Review is limited to 10 scans per month per account during beta.

For the cleanest photo and best estimate, remove sleeves/top loaders when possible. Reflections and sleeve scratches can affect signals and AI review.

  • 10 (Gem Mint): near-perfect condition.
  • 9.5 (Mint+): almost flawless, one very minor issue.
  • 9 (Mint): strong card with minor flaws.
  • 8 (NM–MT): light wear may be present.
  • 7 (Near Mint): visible light wear.
  • 6 and below: increasingly visible flaws.
